About Zalvania & Co
A recovering mother shouldn't have to carry every decision herself
Zalvania & Co exists to make the first weeks after birth feel more supported, more structured, and less mentally overwhelming — the space between clinical care and everyday life at home.
Why it exists
“We had medical knowledge. What we didn't have was a structure for care.”
The postpartum period can leave a mother holding physical recovery, sleep deprivation, feeding, appointments, symptoms, meals, household decisions and older children — plus the constant work of deciding what needs attention next. Meanwhile the people around her want to help but often don't know what useful support looks like.
Zalvania brings structure to that gap: clear guidance for Mum, and clear direction for whoever is helping.
What it is
Practical structure, not another to-do list
Everything in Zalvania is meant to remove a decision, clarify a need, or make it easier for someone else to help. If it doesn't do one of those, it doesn't belong. The goal is to reduce the mental load of recovery — not add to it.
What it isn't
- a medical diagnosis service
- a replacement for your doctor or midwife
- a parenting authority or a perfect-mother system
- a baby-product store or a motivational motherhood page
Where symptoms come up, Zalvania helps you observe, record, and prepare questions — and know when to seek professional care. It is not medical advice. See when to seek care →
